  • 2018
    Birth of Symphoni HR
    This year marked the inception of Symphoni HR and the beginning of a new chapter: delivering search solutions for C-Suite, senior management, and niche mandates for Tier-1 clients, as well as organizations in emerging sectors and technologies. In collaboration with our sister concerns and partners, Symphoni HR offers a range of services, including Retained and Contingent Search, Workforce Planning, Search Advisory, Market Intelligence, and Deep Competency Mapping.
  • 2012 - 2017
    Winning Global Mandate
    The next frontier was the real economy players - with a big push into Real Estate, Engineering and Specialty Chemicals. This was also the time when we won many global mandates in Oil & Gas and Electricals & Automation. Meanwhile, BFSI, IT and Consulting continued to consolidate and grow.
  • 2009 - 2011
    Growing Bigger
    This was the period of entry into Consumer, IT and Consulting sectors. Meanwhile, our BFSI vertical grew bigger with 5 separate teams working in the sectors.
  • 2004 - 2008
    The Next Year
    After an initial push into BPO hiring, and quick but sure entry was made into Retail Banking, followed by Wholesale Banking, Insurance, NBFC and Asset & Wealth Management. Our presence in BFSI was bolstered by many exclusive senior and firm-wide search mandates in the sector.

    A Brief History
    The history of Symphoni HR can be traced back to 2003 when “Headhunters HR” started as a small two-member outfit in Mumbai. 2004 marked the foray into Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO), temporary staffing and payroll processing as “Talent Quest Solutions” was born.

Ujwal Mukim

Designation: Chief Growth Officer

Experience: 8+ Years

Hailing from an entrepreneurial background, Ujwal oversees firm-wide partnerships, alliances, and growth opportunities. A qualified Chartered Accountant, he has worked with clients across sectors including Capital Markets, Corporate Banking, Fund Services, Consulting, Logistics, Healthcare, and Consumer industries. He also leads initiatives in Diversity, Accessibility, Veteran, and LGBTQIA+ hiring, as well as managing RPO and MSP relationships to enhance market presence.

Praveen Mukim

Designation: Co-Founder & Managing Director

Experience: Over 2 decades

An Engineer from MIT Manipal, Praveen has played an important role in spearheading the growth at a clutch of steel giants, before starting Symphoni HR. He has spent years helping Manufacturing, Engineering and EPC clients and helping them in their pursuit of the right talent. He is also the light behind the Consumer, Autos, Real Estate and Healthcare sectors @ Symphoni HR.

A very well-networked entrepreneur , he is our subject matter expert on Government Regulations, Distressed Assets, Real Estate and the brick & mortar economy. His interests include social work, and he is a busy Rotarian. He loves his newspapers, which can be found aplenty in his office.

Gaurav Khetan

Designation: Co-Founder & Executive Director

Experience: Over a decade

A Chartered Accountant by qualification, Gaurav comes with more than a decade of experience in executive search. His charismatic personality and unique management skills bring incredible value to Symphoni HR, and his focus and drive inspire his teams on the path of immense growth. He leads the BFSI & IT verticals. He is the resident expert on Accounting & Finance, Taxation, Contracts, Investments and New Business Ventures.

His interests include sports in general and cricket in particular. Fitness is a religion, and you can find out about the rarest of health drinks from him. He strikes an enviable balance between the finer things in life and community service.

Anshul Bangia

Designation: Partner - Search & Strategy

Experience: Over 17 Years

A Masters in Economics from the Delhi School of Economics, Anshul spent over 17 years in Deutsche Bank, Capgemini and Genpact, before joining Symphoni HR. He brings with him extensive experience in research, analytics, strategic planning and business intelligence. He has worked in London, Mumbai, New Delhi, Gurgaon, Bengaluru and Hyderabad and helped in the set up of new businesses and teams, managed business development, planning & budgeting, transition, people and vendor management, project management and service delivery.

At Symphoni HR, he is leading the charge of venturing into next-gen and emerging sectors and technologies. He spearheads mandates in Quant, Risk, Finance Control, Research and Compliance, in addition to Disruptive Technologies including AI, Blockchain and Big Data.

His interests include technology and audio research, and he loves his music & food. His eye for detail and hunger for knowledge are noticeable as much as his networking and outreach.

Sukhvinder Singh

Designation: Associate Director – Business Development

Experience: Over 2 decades

Sukhvinder is an Engineering Graduate in Electronics and Telecommunication from Mumbai University, Diploma in Marketing Management and Diploma in Digital Marketing . He brings in more than 2 decades of Experience having worked with Product and Services companies.

He has worked in various Industries with Multinational & Indian brands in the field of Telecom , Job portals, Financial Software product & Startups managing Business Development, Customer Relationship Management, Consultative selling, Research and Business analysis, Corporate sales and Software sales.

He enjoys work life balance, Rock Music, an avid biker and enjoys playing lawn-tennis.
