A Brief History
The history of Symphoni HR can be traced back to 2003 when “Headhunters HR” started as a small two-member outfit in Mumbai. 2004 marked the foray into Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO), temporary staffing and payroll processing as “Talent Quest Solutions” was born.
The Next Year
After an initial push into BPO hiring, and quick but sure entry was made into Retail Banking, followed by Wholesale Banking, Insurance, NBFC and Asset & Wealth Management. Our presence in BFSI was bolstered by many exclusive senior and firm-wide search mandates in the sector.
This was the period of entry into Consumer, IT and Consulting sectors. Meanwhile, our BFSI vertical grew bigger with 5 separate teams working in the sectors.
Winning Global Mandate
The next frontier was the real economy players - with a big push into Real Estate, Engineering and Specialty Chemicals. This was also the time when we won many global mandates in Oil & Gas and Electricals & Automation. Meanwhile, BFSI, IT and Consulting continued to consolidate and grow.
Birth of Symphoni HR
This year marked the birth Of Symphoni HR and the beginning of a new chapter - to provide search solutions for C-Suite, Senior Management and niche mandates for our Tier-1 Clients, and for organisations in emerging sectors and technologies. In partnership with our sister concerns and our partners, Symphoni HR offers solutions from Retained & Contingent Search, Workforce Planning and Search Advisory, Market Intelligence and Deep Competency Mapping.
